Residential Life Communities

Agnew Hall

The first section of the Tiger Place Suites is complete! Agnew Hall residences offer suite-style living with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a common living space, and a kitchenette. This new living space is available to upper classmen as well as freshman. A new building means a new Residential Life family!

Custer Hall

Custer Hall provides a secure living environment for the Kansas Academy of Mathematics and Science (KAMS) students that attend Fort Hays State University. Though KAMS students are high school students, Custer Hall provides many of the same leadership and social opportunities as the traditional residence halls, including their own Custer Hall Council.

Heather Hall

Heather Hall is the second phase of the Tiger Place Suites. Like its sister hall Agnew, Heather Hall residences will offer suite-style living with four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a common living space, and a kitchenette. This new living space will be available to upper classmen as well as freshman. It is scheduled to open for the fall semester of 2013.

McMindes Hall

McMindes Hall is co-ed by wing and by floor to approximately 575 residents. McMindes Hall is available to freshmen and upper classmen. The McMindes community is intentionally designed to empower the new student to make a successful intellectual and social transition to college life.

Stadium Place

Stadium Place

Stadium Place offers students comfortable accommodations with apartment-style living. Residents get their own bedroom and share a bath with only one other person, and each apartment includes a living room, bedrooms, dining area and a kitchen. Stadium Place offers both two-and four-bedroom apartments.

Wiest Hall

Wiest Hall is co-ed by floor and accommodates approximately 300 residents of all classifications. Wiest is a truly integrated community, providing first-year students the opportunity to interact closely with upper-class students within a multicultural environment. The environment in Wiest Hall is ideal for cultivating important life skills in your transition from home life to college life.

Wooster Place

Wooster Place apartments offer the benefits of on-campus living with modern amenities. Family friendly, but open to FHSU upper classmen as well, Wooster Place offers both one- and two-bedroom apartments. Each residence includes a full kitchen, living room, bathroom, and bedrooms.
