Little Siblings Weekend

Little Siblings 2017-2

What is Lil' Sibs?

Little Siblings Weekend is an event that takes each year in which FHSU Resident Life embraces the idea of family and bonding.  Taking place on April 7th- April 9th in conjunction with spring family reunion, we will have a wonderful variety of activities and events planned and encourage residents’ siblings to come and enjoy the festivities. The target age range of our events is 4-10 year olds.

This exciting weekend includes a variety of events.

How can I join this event?

Participation in Siblings Weekend is FREE! If you wish to order a Lil’ Sibs T-shirt, there is a $10 cost. For the safety of all our students and their siblings, we ask that you please fill out the registration form and liability waiver found here. Only siblings/guests who have turned in a signed registration form and liability waiver by the registration deadline, March 28, 2017, will be allowed to participate in the weekend events. Residents and their siblings should check in at the registration table in the McMindes Hall lobby from 5:00-7:30pm on Friday, April 7. To register follow the link found here and either mail, email, or fax it via the contact information in the yellow panel to the far left of this page.

What about housing arrangements?

Arrangements have been made for siblings and residents to stay in their siblings rooms and it is recommended that each sibling bring a sleeping bag and pillow, along with other weekend supplies. Our residence halls do have gender specific bathrooms, so some siblings may need to travel to another part of the building to use the appropriate facilities. We ask that all FHSU students escort their siblings to the appropriate locations. Throughout the weekend, residents will be ultimately responsible for their siblings that are staying on campus.

What if I have questions/ concerns? How do I register?

If you have any questions or concerns, please call Residential Life at (785) 628-4245

To register follow the link found here and either mail, email, or fax it via the contact information in the yellow panel to the far left of this page.
