Online  
Applications may be made through your TigerTracks Web account by signing in, selecting 'Online Services' and choosing 'Log In to Residential Life Housing Application.' At the end of the process, you will be given the opportunity to pay the $35 application fee online.

Mail  
You may download the desired application/contract and remit a paper copy with the $35 application fee to our office. Mail it to: Residential Life, Fort Hays State Unversity, Agnew Hall 114, Hays, KS,67601.
Fax 
Applications may be downloaded, printed/completed and faxed with a credit card number and expiration date for the $35 appliation fee. Fax it to: (785) 628-4138.
Returning Residents

Priority Sign-Up
(PSU) provides returning residents with the opportunity to secure their desired housing for the coming year ahead of new residents. Residents participating in PSU will have the opportunity to return to their same room, return to their same community in a different floor/room, return to a different building or return to a different community. In addition, returning residents are eligible to secure the priority single rate which provides a significant discount for a single room.

PSU takes place during the first week of March each year. Complete details regarding PSU are hand-delivered individually to all residents in February. Returning residents that choose not to participate in PSU should follow the same application process as new residents.

Assignment Process

Residence Hall contracts are validated upon receipt of the application fee and require no further action on the part of the applicant. Individuals are notified of their room assignments and roommate information (if applicable) through their TigerTrack's Webmail account beginning in June.

Stadium Place applicants are notified of availability and offered contracts following Priority Sign-Up in March. Signed contracts and deposits must then be returned to our office to be valid. If there are no available units, first year students will be notified and automatically assigned a residence hall room and meal plan.

Wooster Place applicants are contacted on an individual basis depending on availability. Once an apartment becomes available that meets your preferences, you will be mailed a paper contract to consider and return to us. Signed contracts and deposits must then be returned to our office prior to check-in.
