Residence Hall Association (RHA)         MACURH | NACURH

The Residence Hall Association is open to any resident living in the halls. There are no dues or fees. RHA engages in programming designed to enrich the lives of all residence hall students.

RHAThe Residence Hall Association (RHA) acts as the official voice for students living on campus. RHA serves as a link between on-campus residents and the administration to provide input about the dining services
and overall functioning of the residence halls. RHA also provides programming for all the halls and is in charge of the campus movie channel (channel 21). Keep your eyes open for postings during move in for
information on upcoming activities and meetings.

Members also attend state and national conferences and the group acts as a voice for residents concerning hall matters. Officer elections are in September. Look for posters announcing RHA meetings and events.

These are the only linens that we guarantee will fit in the Residence Halls. The linens offered by the Residence Hall Association will comfortable fit all mattresses at Fort Hays State University. Everything is first quality and "Guaranteed Until Graduation." If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, your money will be refunded.

RHA Rentals

In an effort to make your time at FHSU easier, RHA offers several products for rent.

RHA has 2.0 cubic foot compact refrigerators, microwaves, and 4.5 cubic foot refrigerators with freezers for rent.

We also have Microfridges®, which are a large refrigerator, freezer and microwave built into the same unit, available for rent. This last option allows you to have all three units in one convenient and compact location.

The rent income generated from these units goes to fund activities open to all Fort Hays State University hall residents.

Some of the benefits of renting a unit from RHA include the following:
Low Cost: Roommates can share the rent on the unit.
No Repair Costs: RHA will replace a defective unit with a comparable functioning one.
Convenience: RHA takes care of storing all units at the end of the contracted period.

*Above Rental Payments include Kansas state and local sales tax. *Rental Prices are based two semesters. One semester rental prices will be half of the rent and the entire deposit.

A security deposit is required and is fully refunded when the unit is turned back in under any of the following conditions: 1) The unit is returned in good order at the end of the rental period; 2) Your roommate also reserves an appliance and the two of you choose to share; or 3) You do not enroll at FHSU.

If you have questions feel free to call the RHA coordinator at 785-628-4899 Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There will be signs posted around your hall when the halls open, informing you where and when you can pick up your product. If there is a shortage of your choice of product, RHA will attempt to provide a comparable substitute; refund your money; or ask you to make an additional payment to upgrade to a different product.
