GLOBE Students in France and the U.S. Expand Collaborative Activities
In February 2008 Dr. Paul Adams, Ms. Kathy Rome (Bison, Kansas) and Dr. Dianne Robinson (Hampton University) traveled to France to work with Danielle De Staerke, Director of Education at CNES and GLOBE France Country Coordinator, and her team of scientists and educators. While visiting the schools, the three presented information on the CALIPSO satellite and guided the students through activities related to aerosols.

If you've ever wondered about what kind of scientific research is being done by scientists in western Kansas, this is the site for you. The first in the Science Lecture Series was held October 27th in Tomanek Hall. The topic presented was "Pluto: 2B or Not 2B" by Ken Trantham. The audio podcast is available on the Podcast page.
