Girls! During the 2010 summer you can:

  • Work in small groups doing several math/science activities that professional Crime Scene Investigators pursue
  • Meet with women and men who are practicing professionals in a variety of math/science occupations
  • Enjoy well-supervised, fun events fostering social interactions with other girls who share your interests
  • Experience the life of a college student by living in a residence hall with a roommate and dining in the cafeteria
  • Learn about opportunities available to you in math/science fields and find out how to take advantage of these opportunities

CSI activity examples:

  • Use Global Positioning System (GPS) technology by geocaching
  • Analyze soil samples microscopically to determine the characteristics of a mystery soil
  • Do a creative robotics activity
  • Determine speed of a car on the basis of evidence remaining after an accident
