Mission Statement
The Kansas State Science and Engineering Fair competition will involve students in dynamic scientific investigations. The participating students will gain perspective of the world through science and will develop skills necessary to persist in today’s society.

This venue provides students with experience in critical thinking , leadership, and creative problem solving. We appreciate the involvement of students and teachers who participate in the Kansas Science & Engineering Fair   

The Second Annual Regional Science Fair
February 27, 2010

                    hosted by Fort Hays State University

The Regional Science Fair will be held on the campus of Fort Hays State University on Saturday, February 27, 2010.  Students grades 4-12 are eligible to enter, with awards given for top entries in each category.  By winning their category, entrants will automatically qualify for the Kansas State Science Fair.  Individual projects may be entered, as well as team entries (comprised of no more than 3 students).

Categories are as follows:
                        Behavioral and Social Sciences
                        Botany & Zoology
                        Cellular Biology
                        Chemistry
                        Earth and Space Sciences
                        Engineering
                        Environmental Science and Energy
                        Physical Science
                        Computer Sciences and Mathematics

          

Registration forms need to be submitted by February 1, 2010.
