It is your senior year and your graduation
is approaching. Now what? For starters, plan to attend
commencement. Commencement will be held on Saturday, May
16, 2009. Check out the commencement Web site for a complete
schedule of commencement activities at: hhttp://www.fhsu.edu/registrar/commencement.shtml.
Step
1: Apply to Graduate
Students
graduating must complete an undergraduate degree application. The degree application
is located in Tiger Tracks. The degree application
must be completed by the student at the time of final enrollment for the last
semester in which the degree is being sought. In other words . . . December
Graduates Complete the undergraduate degree application when
you enroll for classes during the fall semester.
May Graduates
Complete the undergraduate degree application when you enroll for classes
during the spring semester.
July Graduates Complete the undergraduate degree application when you enroll for classes during the summer
term.
**Degree completion fee for the Undergraduate degree is $50 (even
for a student receiving two bachelor's degrees at the same commencement).
Step
2: Meet Graduation Requirements
All requirements for the completion of
a degree must be completed and on record in the Office
of the Registrar by January 15 for fall semester graduates;
May 30 for spring semester graduates; and August 14 for
summer term graduates to be included in the degree granting
dates for the semester or term.
Students should meet with
their degree analyst and academic advisor to ensure all graduation requirements
will be met by the deadlines listed above.
Step 3: Update Your Name and Address
Update your local and permanent addresses
online through TigerTracks. Click
here to access TigerTracks. Update the address your
diploma is mailed to by contacting your degree analyst
in the Registrar's Office prior to the end of the semester
or term. Your diploma will be mailed to your diploma address
2-3 weeks after the end of semester or term.
