Any tuition refunds, excess financial assistance and other University funds that may be owed to you will be made available using the refund option selected. Financial Assistance, Scholarships, Loans and/or other awards are applied to your account once you meet all eligibility requirements. After available funds pay all institutional charges for the semester, your remaining award funds (if applicable) will be available as a refund to you. Available excess financial assistance is released to enrolled students at the beginning of the semester. Students finalizing enrollment after the enrollment deadline for the semester will not receive available excess financial assistance on the same day as enrollment.

Receiving your money on the TigerCard is safe, efficient, and secure. |

Make sure you have an active TigerCard bank account at Commerce Bank. |

Funds are available 1-2 business days after release of funds on your FHSU student account. |

Personal on-campus TigerCard banking service is available at Commerce Bank in the FHSU Memorial Union
during normal business hours. |

If you select TigerCard as your refund option but have not obtained one by the time funds become available, the Student Fiscal Services office reserves the right to select a refund option for you. |
- Direct Deposit to Bank Account

Receiving your money is safe, efficient, and secure when you have completed a Direct Deposit Authorization Form with accurate bank account information. |

If you have not previously completed the Direct Deposit Authorization Form, or are changing bank accounts, the form must be completed and returned to FHSU at least 5 days prior to the release date of funds. If the form and updated bank account information are not received by the deadline, expect funds to be released to your TigerCard account or sent by paper check to your permanent address as listed in your personal information on TigerTracks. |

There is a minimum 2-3 business days for the funds to be available at your bank once funds have been released on your student account at FHSU. |

There is a $30 fee if ACH funds are returned to FHSU by your bank because of invalid bank information. |

You are responsible for notifying FHSU immediately if you have bank account changes. |

Direct deposit is not available for Parent Plus Loans. A paper check is sent to the parent. |

If you are unable to obtain a TigerCard and you do not have access to a valid bank account for Direct Deposit, an alternative refund option must be approved by the Student Fiscal Services office. |

If you do not receive financial assistance, or if you do not anticipate a refund from your awards, select this option. |

If you later receive financial assistance funds, you will be responsible for contacting Student Fiscal Services a minimum of one week prior to the release of the funds to select a refund option. The Student Fiscal Services office reserves the right to select a refund option if you have not contacted us. |
