Federal amendments (Code of Federal Regulations - 34 CFR 674.41) established a Student Loan Ombudsman to provide timely assistance to borrowers with Federal student loans.

Federal Perkins Student Loan borrowers have the right to contact the Student Loan Ombudsman pertaining to loan account disputes that cannot be resolved with Fort Hays State University Student Fiscal Services.
