- A low interest (currently 5%) loan
- For both undergraduate and graduate,
degree seeking students who are enrolled at least half-time
- Awarded to students who demonstrate
an exceptional financial need
- No interest accrues on the loan
during the time a student is enrolled
- Repayment begins nine months after
graduation or dropping below half-time
- FHSU is the lender, but the loan is made with government
funds and a share contributed by FHSU
- You must repay this loan to FHSU
This office is responsible for the
Federal Perkins Student Loan award distribution and loan collection.
The Financial Assistance office handles the awarding of this
