Chris Roberts

Christopher Roberts is a Junior at Fort Hays State University, majoring in Justice Studies. Before attending FHSU, he was a graduate of Salina Central High School which is located in Salina, Kansas. While in Salina, Chris was involved in organizations and athletics including theatre, choir, band, track, cross country, and basketball. He was also appointed to the Renaissance Committee which hosted events at the school for honor roll students and worked with Student Council handling issues on school grounds. Since coming to FHSU, he has taken a role serving on numerous committee’s for Student Government Association that include Allocations, Appropriations, Senate Affairs, Publications Board, and Academic Assessment and Review Committee. In his free time, Chris’ interests are numerous and diverse. He also enjoys yard games, keeping up with politics and some Call of Duty with his friends. On campus, he enjoys speaking with professors and working for the interests of the students.

Reed Tevault
 Vice President

Reed Tevault is a Senior at Fort Hays State University, majoring in Marketing and minoring in Spanish. Reed is from Lenexa, KS, a suburb of Kansas City, and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. Reed is an active member of the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Psi, and has previously served as the Master of Rituals. In the previous year in Student Government Association, Reed served as Co-Chair on the Appropriations Committee and was elected by Senate to the Allocations committee. In addition Reed serves on the Parking/Traffic Committee at FHSU, and helped push through the motion to remove the parking meters across campus. In his first two years of college Reed ran Cross country and Track for FHSU and is still a big supporter of FHSU athletics.

In his free time, Reed is a thorough baseball addict (particularly the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Royals); he enjoys listening to games, reading countless articles, and studying statistics. Reed enjoys boxing, swimming, and running to stay in shape and enjoys going out, actively meeting new people, and figuring out how to make the FHSU experience better for everyone. Reed is also very superstitious and adheres closely to his lucky number, 11.

 Matthew Whitmore
 Legislative Affairs Director

Matthew Whitmore, from St. Francis, KS, is a Senior at Fort Hays State University studying Finance. Matt  is also the vice president of Alpha Kappa Psi fraternity and the president of the Tiger Investment Group. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with friends and being involved in the community in as many ways as possible. Whether he is hanging out at the UAB’s After-Dark events, painting house with Tigers-In-Service, or working the football games as a V.I.P Student Ambassador, you can always find him out and about, repping the Black and Gold!

Rachel Wary
 Administrative Assistant

Rachel Wary is a Senior from Wichita, KS, majoring in Nursing. This is her third year involved in the Student Government Association and is extremely excited to welcome all of the new and returning Senators. Rachel enjoys watching movies, running, biking, and spending time with friends and family.

Brandon Taylor

Brandon Taylor is a Junior at FHSU from Greensburg, KS majoring in Business Management.  He is involved in various organizations and honor societies on campus including Fort Hays Honor Society, SPURS, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, Tigers in Service, Up Till Dawn. He also serves on the College of Business and Entrepreneurship Student Advisory Council. Brandon is excited to work with the exec staff, senators, and student organizations. Brandon’s goal is to leave the FHSU campus a better place than when he first arrived.

In his free time Brandon enjoys listening to country music, reading, running, and helping his dad on the family farm.  He also enjoys watching college football and KU basketball. After obtaining his degree from FHSU, he plans to go on and obtain a Master’s of Business Administration.

Carolyn Campbell

 Campus Relations

Carolyn Campbell is a senior at FHSU from Denver, Colorado. She plans on graduating in May with a degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law and a minor in Spanish. She was the SGA Treasurer from October 2011-December 2012. During the spring semester she interned in Washington, D.C. for Senator Michael Bennet from Colorado and is looking forward to returning to SGA to make a difference on campus. She is involved in various organizations and honor societies on campus, including Alpha Gamma Delta sorority, Panhellenic council, Order of Omega, and Pi Sigma Alpha. Carolyn has also been an Orientation Assistant for three years and always finds joy in helping her fellow students.

 Carolyn loves to learn and can always be found reading new and exciting books, or reading and watching the news. She always strives to be an informed citizen and loves helping others do the same.

Noelle Husmann

Public Relations Director

Noelle Husmann is a Junior from Kearney, NE, and is majoring in Communication with minors in Spanish and International Studies. Noelle is new to the Student Government Association this year and is excited to be working with the Executive Staff and Senators. She hopes to promote and make SGA more visible this upcoming year. While at FHSU Noelle has been involved in Go Global Learning Community, Student Conduct Board, and Tiger Voices.

 In her free time Noelle enjoys going to international films on campus, reading, and learning about new cultures.  She also hopes to Study abroad this summer and work internationally in the future.
