Robin Unruh, M.S.W.
Robin hails from southwest Kansas, and spent her formative years in Deerfield, KS. She received an associate's of science degree from Garden City Community College before transferring to St. Mary of the Plains College in Dodge City, KS, where she obtained a bachelor of arts degree in psychology. Robin completed a Master's degree in social work at the University of Kansas in 2002. She is currently completing her clinical supervision hours and hopes to take the clinical licensure examination in December 2011. Robin is licensed through the BSRB as both a Licensed Master's Level Social Worker (LMSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC). Her hobbies and interests include sports, especially college basketball and football, motorcycling, reading & expanding her knowledge base, and music. She is a member of the Garden City Municipal Band. Robin is a member of both NASW and KNASW, and is also active in the Deerfield High School (DHS) Alumni Association currently serving as President. She has experience working in the child welfare arena, providing mental health services to older adults and is currently providing substance abuse treatment to individuals on probation in the State of Kansas.
