Judith Getty completed her bachelor's degree in Sociology
from Fort Hays State University in 1994. She earned her master's
degree in Counseling in July 1997. She has been employed at Fort
Hays State University since 1972. Her current full-time position
at FHSU is Student Fiscal Services Director within Administration
and Finance. She serve on numerous University committees including
Financial Aid, Academic Appeals, Student Organizations, International
Education Management Group, Academic Advising, and others. She also
serves on special task force and development teams for student policy
review and implementation of technical changes.
She has been involved in community activities such as Hospice,
Leadership Hays, Soroptimist, Special Olympics, and other organizations
over the years. In addition, Ms Getty holds several professional
memberships and is an active participant as well as trainer and
presenter within these organizations.
She is married to Larry Getty. Together they have 4 daughters and
8 grandchildren ranging in age from 3 years to 22 years of age.
In addition to spending time with the family, they enjoy traveling,
gardening and attending University sports.
