What is T.I.G.E.R.S. Series?

Tie Into Great Educational Resources and Strategies or T.I.G.E.R.S. Series are workshops designed to enhance students' academic and social integration into college, provide students with essential strategies and information to enhance the likelihood of their retention and academic/social success. These workshops:
~ Provide ongoing support and stabilization during the transition to college.
~Integrate a variety of skills essential for academic and personal success -- written communication, oral communication, self-reflection, organization, critical thinking, and the ability to synthesize ideas and information.
~ Empower students with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful college experience.
~ Encourage students to take greater responsibility for their own behaviors and learning.
~ Assist students in identifying and participating in the co-curricular life of Fort Hays State University.
