Group Visitation
Almost 4,000 people in school
groups visited the museum last year. Of course other
groups, for example—businesses and church groups—may
wish to utilize the museum's fine meeting facilities. Commercial
tour groups are of course welcome to visit the museum.
Whatever the case, simply contact reservations manager Mark
Kellerman.

Volunteer Opportunities
Opportunities to volunteer at the museum abound, including
but not limited to assisting the exhibit staff, helping curate
the research collections, performing clerical duties in the
museum office, serving as gallery attendants, working in the
Sternberg Store, helping with educational programs, and manning
the admissions desk.
Basic types of volunteers include: 1) those
who can work on a regularly-scheduled basis
(even if only a few hours per week!), 2) those who—like
substitute teachers in our schools—might be
willing to work on a moment's notice (absolutely no obligation,
though, if called), and 3) those who might do both!
Almost anyone can volunteer! Simply contact Brad
Penka, Volunteer Program Coordinator, for an application,
and join our volunteers in action!
