Museum Hours

Tours are typically 1 hour through the permanent exhibits, docents (tour guides) are available by reservation. Groups are required to have 1 adult sponsor for every 10 youth (teachers are included as sponsors). Admission is $2.50 for each youth. Admission fee includes the following: admission to exhibits, docents (if reserved), Discovery Room (if reserved), Classroom (if reserved), and Museum Store (if reserved). Teachers, Sponsors, and Bus Drivers are admitted free with reserved groups.
 
 

• Adult sponsors must stay with their groups at all times.
• Docents and other museum staff are not responsible for the discipline and behavior of students. Adult sponsors are responsible for the discipline and behavior of students.
• Museum memberships do not apply to school group admissions.
• Please provide two week's notice if an interpreter is needed.

• Lunch on-site is available—you can bring your own sack lunches and eat in the classroom, or arrange for our foodservice to provide box lunches.
• Indoor and Outdoor classrooms are available by reservation. A classroom teacher may give his or her own presentation to students or request a program presented by museum staff.
