Benefits of Registering
Registering as a student group with the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) means your group is officially acknowledged by Fort Hays State University. By registering you also have access to the following benefits:
- Ability to reserve rooms in the Memorial Union for events and meetings free of charge
- Use of contact tables in the Union, and patio space just outside the Northeast entrance, for information dissemination
- Ability to promote events on the campus-wide FHSU Events Calendar
- Abilty to promote events via the CSI Poster Route
- Ability to have an on-campus mailbox, via CSI
- Eligibility to apply for locker storage space in the CSI
- Inclusion in the CSI student group directory
- Assistance in writing funding requests (grants and Student Service Fees) and planning fundraisers
- Possible listing in the FHSU Campus Directory
- Conducting fundraisers and sales on campus with appropriate permits
- Participation in campus wide events (e.g. Back to School Picnic, Oktoberfest, Homecoming)
- Consultation with CSI staff members on leadership, advising, and organizational issues
- Ability to request Allocations, Appropriations, Equipment and Speaker/Event monies through Student Governement Association
