About the University FHSU has an enrollment of around 4,500 on-campus students and 4,500 virtual students. Degrees are offered in physics and physical science. The department makes its home in the newest academic building on campus, Tomanek Hall, where it occupies half of the second floor. It hosts the Astronomy Club, Amateur Radio Club, and the Society of Physics Students as well as two experimental research groups and one theoretical research group.
