Boo Bash (2007)
| The second annual Boo Bash was a huge success! Thirteen Tigers in Service volunteers plus fifty eager Trick-or-Treaters made for a fantastic afternoon. Four stations were set up for the fifty K-5th graders. They listened to Halloween stories, colored crazy Halloween pictures, made ghosts out of lollipops and Kleenex and there was a new element added to Boo Bash this year...Balloon animals!!! The kids had a blast celebrating Halloween in their costumes at the library and the Tigers in Service volunteers enjoyed spending time with them. We can hardly wait until next year's SPOOKTACULAR Boo Bash!

The first annual Boo Bash was held on Sunday afternoon as the finale to Make A Difference Day. Twelve volunteers helped over sixty Pre-school through fifth graders make spider treats, ghoulish hands, color scary pictures and one volunteer read scary stories. Volunteers and children had a great time getting to work together and learn more about each other. Several of the children’s parents attended with them, which was a lot of fun. Volunteers enjoyed being able to interact with younger children and getting to see the children in their costumes. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves!
