activities. |
Each year, Tigers In Service immediately responds
to numerous disasters. Whether it be a tornado, flood, earthquake,
hurricane, tsunami, or any other natural or man-made disaster, Tigers
In Service will be there to provide support for the victims in any
way possible.
Past projects include…
Tsunami Relief
Hurricane Relief
This year's focus will include...

Super Green is the latest project TIS is working on. We will take multiple weekend trips, to aid in the completion of renovations for Greensburg and Chapman, KS. The plan is to continue these trips as long as Greensburg and Chapman need help. We will be taking as many TIS members that are interested, and we will also be partnering with student run organizations, fraternities, sororities and any other group or organization interested in assisting in the renovations. If you are interested in joining in the effort, or have a group that wants to go on a trip, please stop by the TIS office (Wiest 716) to sign up for a specific date. If you have questions about anything, feel free to call our office (785-628-5537) or email us at service@fhsu.edu. We appreciate any input and all your support!!
The Super Green trips this semester (Fall '08) are as follows:
Next semester's (Spring '09) planned trips are as follows:
Note: Because we will be staying overnight on most of the trips, we will be camping out in tents in one of the parks in Greensburg and possibly Chapman. This is a great opportunity to meet new people and form new friendships. These trips will not cost you anything!!! We are asking that you donate $5-$10 if possible, to help us out with expenses for food and gas. However THIS IS NOT A REQUIREMENT! For a full list of the supplies you'll need to bring along on the trip, stop by the office or email us at any time!
