FHSU TILFORD DIVERSITY GROUP INCENTIVE GRANT APPLICATION
PURPOSE OF GRANTThe purpose of the grant is to promote the FHSU Tilford Diversity Group theme of “World Ready” and to provide opportunities for co-curricular diversity and international programming through faculty, staff, and University departments.
ELIGIBILITY FOR PROPOSAL SUBMISSIONAll current Fort Hays State University tenured/tenured-track faculty, instructors, and Student Affairs staff members are eligible to apply. Incomplete applications will be returned without review.
AVAILABLE FUNDING AND DEADLINESAll funds must be expended no later than June 30, 2015.
● $2,000 maximum = Individual Request
● $4,000 maximum = Interdisciplinary Team
Upon completion, the project should have the potential to serve as a model for institutional replication, and offer the possibility of continuing beyond the grant period. Selected recipients, individual and team members, will be recognized as Tilford Fellows. Grant award recipients are expected to:
APPLICATION INFORMATIONApplications are due on or before August 4, 2014 but no later than 4:30 PM. Awards will be made on a rolling basis as applications are submitted or until all funds are allocated. Grants will be awarded on a competitive basis and proposals will be selected according to Tilford Grant criteria. Approved projects may not receive the full amount of funding requested.
