Believe us, Office 2007 has some really cool features, but backwards compatibility is not great at times with Office 2003! We recommend saving in both 2007 (.docx) and 2003 (.doc) formats, as blackboard doesn't support .docx files. If you have 2007 specific formatting, saving as a 2003 file can have a dramatic effect on the format of your paper.
