Transfer Guides

FHSU has established the Transfer and Articulation Agreement with all Kansas Board of Regent schools in order to allow students to continue their education by transferring college credits. In addition, FHSU has Transfer and Articulation Agreements with many other two-year and four-year institutions throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Through these partnerships, FHSU has created Transfer Guides for many of our programs. Transfer students who are interested in a seamless transition to FHSU are encouraged to utilize the Transfer Guides listed on this page. It is imperative that students work closely with their academic advisor to ensure a smooth transfer.

Please note that program degree requirements are subject to changes on the basis of program improvement and to meet accreditation requirements. Both FHSU and our partner institutions are continually working to upgrade programs, so the posted materials should be considered as guides. It is imperative that students work closely with their academic advisor to ensure a smooth transfer. Students are required to successfully finish the curriculum listed on these guides and to meet any college, university, and/or state requirements for degree completion. If transition to FHSU occurs before 45 hours are complete, the student may be subject to additional course requirements. Contact us for more information.

Transcript Evaluation Process

For an official transcript evaluation, follow the steps below:

  1. Apply for admission.
  2. Send official transcripts from all colleges/universities you have attended to the Registrar's Office.
  3. Once admitted to FHSU, request a transcript evaluation from your degree analyst in the Registrar's Office.
  4. If you have questions regarding the transfer of specific courses after the evaluation is complete, refer to the transfer of credit appeal process.

Once formally admitted to FHSU, the Registrar's Office will perform a transcript evaluation at your request (or at the request of your academic advisor). The transcript evaluation will show which courses transferred into the program and which courses remain in order to complete your degree. Upon the completion of 60 credit hours, every degree-seeking student will be provided with an official degree summary. Once the advisor signs off, the degree summary will be loaded into the student's TigerTracks account.
