Admission Requirements

Undergraduate Transfer:

  • If you are a transfer student with 24 credit hours or more, you must:
    • Have a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all previous college work.
  • If you are a transfer student under the age of 21, with fewer than 24 credit hours, you must:
    • Have a minimum 2.00 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale) on all previous college work and
    • Meet the freshman qualified admissions requirements.

Graduate Transfer:

  • If you wish to pursue a graduate program at FHSU, please visit the Graduate School website for instructions.

 


Admission Process

Follow the steps below for getting started at Fort Hays State University:

  1. Apply online for admission to FHSU
  2. Send official transcripts from all previously attended institutions to: FHSU Registrar's Office, 600 Park Street, Hays, KS 67601.
  3. Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships.
  4. Once accepted, set up your FHSU TigerNetID for access to your student account.
