As the community center of
Fort Hays State University, the Memorial Union serves students,
faculty, staff, alumni and guests. We invite you to discover
the Union as a place that you'll want to visit often.
Memorial Union serves as an excellent place for relaxing,
eating, meeting people, studying, drinking Starbucks coffee,
buying school supplies and FHSU "Tigerwear" in
the Bookstore, playing pool, purchasing tickets, attending
special events and banquets, doing your banking, or just
plain hanging out.
To serve as the community center for all members of the
Fort Hays State University community including: students,
faculty, staff, alumni, and guests.
To serve as a part of the educational program of the University
by providing opportunities for student development through
volunteer service, employment, and self-directed activity.
To serve as a meeting, banquet and conference center for
the campus, city of Hays, and Western Kansas.
To provide the services, conveniences,
and programs and activities in support of the mission of
the University.
To serve as a unifying force in
the life of the University.
