First Floor (Ground Level):

Brochures and Campus Maps - Located near the Student Service Center is a brochure rack that provides FHSU information, campus maps, and information about Hays provided by the Hays Convention and Visitor Bureau.

Bulletin Boards - Bulletin boards are located on the first floor across from the entrance to Union Station. The BUY, SELL, RIDE AND RENT board is intended to display notices of items for sale or rent or to buy, or notices for people wanting rides or riders. The EVENTS AND NOTICES board displaces notices of events or information of local interest. For posting rules, please read 'Posting of Notices, Signs and Table Tent Advertising' guidelines written in the Memorial Union Policies.

Commerce Bank - 625-1262 - Banking services such as university debit card accounts (FHSU ID card), checking and savings accounts, CDs, loan applications, money orders and cashier checks.

Commerce Bank Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) accessible 24 hours a day.

Chartwells Catering and Food Service -628-5396 -Providing catering services on and off campus.

Grab' N Go - Snack shop.

Lounges - Several lounges are available in the Union -- Sunset Lounge, Stouffer Lounge, and Tiger Cove. Lounges can be reserved for special events or can be used for study, relaxation, or just hanging out.

Mail Center - 628-4400 -The collection point for all incoming and outgoing first class mail for academic departments on campus. Inter-departmental mail is also distributed from the mail center. Provides campus mail distribution, first class mail metering, incoming and outgoing first class mail, priority, registered, insured and international mail. Note: The mail center does not sell stamps or handle cash transactions. Stamps are available at the Service Center.

Newspapers - Near the entrance of Union Station are newspaper racks that feature the Hays Daily News, New York Times, and FHSU Leader

Student Service Center -628-5306 -Services include personal check cashing, ticket sales, notary, FAX services, payment center for Tiger Tots Nurtury Center, postal services and flash drive printing.

Tiger Cove - Located near the entrance to Union Station on the first floor, Tiger Cove is the place to play pool, foosball, or relax in comfortable lounge furniture. A flat screen TV provides a wide range of cable TV channels. Vending machines for soft drinks, candy and other snacks are close by.

Union Station  - Serving breakfast and lunch, the Union cafeteria offers a broad menu in a location convenient to FHSU students, faculty and staff .

University Bookstore - 628-5378 -New and used textbooks for sale, wide selection of FHSU clothing and giftware, computer software, reference and general reading books for sale and text buy back service.
