is information for downloading Fort Hays State University
Identity Marks and tigers. -
- Downloading
The university's identity marks are available for downloading
by individuals affiliated with the university (staff/faculty/administrators/licensed
vendors). The marks are available for both printed and electronic
documents. You can download
the following files directly from this page or ftp them at
ftp://bigcat.fhsu.edu/pub/ (no password necesssary). If you
are affiliated with the university and have difficulty downloading
or don't

- Using the Logo in Printed Documents, Signs,
etc.
If you are using the logo in printed documents, signs, etc.,
you should check with the art director in University Relations
for guidelines. Also, University Relations has produced an Identity
Standards Manual containing usage guidelines. All questions
relating to use of the logo should be directed to Mary Ridgway,
art director.

- Student Use of University Logo and Other
Trademarks
Students should contact the University Relations office for
guidelines in using the university logos. The logos are available
in TIFF format (used mainly for printed documents) and in GIF
format (used mainly for Web documents).

- TIFFs
- Logos in TIFF format can be used in most
computer software programs (including graphics, word processing,
and desktop publishing). The following logos are arranged by:
(1) Mac or PC TIFF format; and (2) resolution. For best results,
download the file that matches the resolution of your printer.

- GIFs
- The logos for Web use are in GIF format
(72 dpi resolution), which is the basic graphic image format
used when developing Web pages.
