The Fort Hays State University website is the face of the University. It is important that web pages within the FHSU website provide accurate and well organized information. The University website is built on a Content Management System (CMS) which allows users of all experience levels, the ability to edit web pages. The University Webmaster, Earl Ruder (webmaster@fhsu.edu) handles development, troubleshooting, training, and assistance with all things related to the FHSU website CMS. For assistance in developing web pages, formatting, troubleshooting, web training, or to report a problem, contact Earl.

CMS Training & User Access

Online Training: Online training materials are available at http://www.fhsu.edu/cmstraining.  All CMS users should go through these materials.

Personalized Training Sessions: Personalized training in the FHSU CMS system is provided by the University Webmaster, Earl Ruder. Contact Earl (webmaster@fhsu.edu) to set up a training session.

User Access: The webmaster also handles user accounts and can provide access to the CMS system for new users.   Contact Earl (webmaster@fhsu.edu) to add a new CMS user.
