Sociology courses are taught via the Internet, videotape, CD-ROM, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), email and traditional correspondence methods.
As a student majoring in sociology, you have the opportunity to craft (with the aid of an individual advisor) a program of study to best suit your own interests and needs. Along with a set of core courses, you will select among many elective sociology and university courses to complete your degree. In addition, sociology majors complete a very popular internship requirement. Internships are tailored to help students sample potential careers, build resumes, learn new skills, hone current skills, and pave the way for subsequent employment.
