Many students earn a BA in Sociology in order to hone their “people skills.” This certificate program includes courses that deal with major life passages, such as marriage, remarriage, childrearing, aging, and death and dying. The Life Issues certificate provides students with a background to work in human services fields or to enhance the knowledge of those currently working in such fields.
