upon the effectiveness of its marketing program, a 12-hour Marketing
certificate is a perfect complement to virtually any program of study.
Marketing as a career has experienced growth in all business sectors.
All businesses, domestic and international, are involved in marketing,
which offers career opportunities in selling, advertising, wholesaling, retailing, business-to-business marketing, international marketing,
marketing research, public relations, governmental marketing and much
more. The marketing certificate can be customized to meet the needs of
any sector.
All courses applied toward the certificate must be taken for credit.
Courses
cannot be counted toward more than one certificate; students are
designated as "certificate students" when they declare an intent to
complete a certificate plan (e.g., Management) and a university
application; upon completion of certificate requirements, the program
director will authorize the issuance of a printed certificate.
