Fort Hays State University offers a series of courses and
certificate options to prepare you in web-based applications. All
courses listed are offered online with no requirement for you to come
to campus. You may earn a 15-hour certificate as a stand alone
credential if you're in the working world and need real time knowledge
and skills. Additionally, you can earn a certificate to supplement an
undergraduate online degree such as the Bachelors of General Studies or
the Bachelor of Science in Information Networking and
Telecommunications - Web Development Concentration. You may apply
graduate-level classes toward an MLS in Information Networking and
Telecommunications.
Certificate in E-Commerce Web Development
This certificate is designed for someone who seeks the skills to create
an e-commerce site and who desires to understand the fundamentals of
e-commerce marketing and strategy.

Computer Requirements
A computer produced in the last three years with at least 1 Mbps RAM,
Internet access of at least 500 kbps, and Windows or Mac operating
system, DVD drive. Individual classes may require the purchase of the
