The Certificate in Global Leadership is a 12-credit hour program created by the Department of Leadership Studies to develop leaders who will possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to lead positive change in the larger global context.
Participants in the certificate program will learn to facilitate change within their local, civic, and organizational surroundings, while also acting in accordance with global social responsibility to address world issues.
Upon completing a Certificate in Global Leadership through our domestic or virtual college offerings, students will achieve the following learning outcomes:
- Understand global issues affecting our current and future world;
- Understand and commit to cultural sensitivity and inclusion;
- Possess the knowledge and skills to successfully work in the complex political, economic, and civil society global environments;
- Possess the knowledge and skills to practice leadership and create positive change in the global environment; and
- Possess a commitment to social responsibility and leadership for the common good worldwide.
