Certificate in Grant Proposal Writing and Program Evaluation

Grants from government and private sources provide important supplemental funding to schools, hospitals, law enforcement agencies, and many other social service agencies. FHSU’s Department of Sociology and Social Work is pleased to offer one of the few undergraduate grant proposal writing and program evaluation programs in the nation. The skills you develop through this certificate program can increase your employment potential greatly as employers recognize the considerable value and financial benefit of well-trained grant proposal writers.

SOC 673  Program Development and Evaluation 3 hours
SOC 677  Internship in Grant Proposal Development 3 hours
