Since the invention of the X-ray in 1895, the field of diagnostic radiology has rapidly advanced. With new and advanced imaging tools available today, the role of radiologic technologists has expanded, along with career opportunities. FHSU’s Department of Allied Health is pleased to offer radiologic technologists one of the few online certificate and degree programs in the country. This certificate opportunity has a *blended curriculum with one course having an on-campus requirement.
An online certificate in
Women’s Imaging gives you the education and training you need to:
- improve your skills and versatility as a diagnostic technologist,
- move into a supervisory position, or
- fulfill your continuing education requirements.
Furthermore, this certificate gains you college credit hours that could help you become registry eligible in this modality and could eventually lead to a Bachelor of Science in Medical Diagnostic Imaging.
