How do I automatically have my students added to Blackboard?
CTELT will send out an e-mail a few weeks before the classes begin in China. You will be asked to fill out the form located at http://www.fhsu.edu/ctelt/bbenrollment before the set deadline.
Please remember that you are responsible for adding any students after the automatic enrollment dates, as well as removing any drops.
We also strongly recommend that you remove the old students from your Blackboard courses before we add the new students. Keep in mind that removing the students will also delete their grades from the online gradebook.
How do I find out the usernames and passwords of my students?
- Go to the control panel for a class
- Go into the Gradebook
- At the top, click on Gradebook Settings
- Click on Spreadsheet Settings
- Check Username and Student ID and submit the form
You will now see a list of their usernames as well as their FHSU
student IDs. The password is the last four digits of the student
ID.
How can my students add their preferred English name to their Blackboard account?
- Log into Blackboard
- Click on Personal Settings
- Click on Edit Personal Information
- Add the English name in parenthesis after your first name
