In so doing, Fort Hays State University is honored to partner with the Air University of the U.S. Air Force in providing a bridge between the Airmen's Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from the Community College of the Air Force and Fort Hays State University's  Bachelor of General Studies-Information Networking & Telecommunications, Bachelor of General Studies-Political Studies, Bachelor of General Studies-Human Services, and Bachelor of General Studies-Justice Studies degree programs. Airmen with a conferred CCAF degree who participate in the AU-ABC program can anticipate completing their bachelor's degree in one of the chosen aforementioned fields, provided they complete 60 semester hours* with Fort Hays State University.

What is the Air University - Associate to Baccalaureate Cooperative Program?

AU-ABC is an initiative between the Air University and civilian higher education institutions. The purpose of the AU-ABC partnership is to offer baccalaureate degree options to every eligible Air Force member. In short, AU-ABC points Airmen who have completed CCAF AAS degree to "Air Force friendly" universities, like that of Fort Hays State University.
