Important Dates to Remember

Some important dates to keep in mind for:

Spring 2015
Summer 2016

Summer 2016

May 25 - Enrollment Deadline. Pre-enrolled classes will be dropped from the Student Schedule if enrollment is not finalized on TigerEnroll by 11:59 pm CT. 

June 1 - Begin release of available financial assistance funds to students meeting eligibility and enrollment deadlines. Fund release dates are dependent on the selected refund option choice in the TigerEnrollment payment process.

June 6 - Classes begin
Final day for undergraduate students to declare an Intent to Graduate--notify Registrar's Office. Go to TigerTracks
Pre-enrollment for Fall 2016 transfer students and new freshmen.

June 10 - Pre-enrollment for Fall 2016 new freshmen

June 12 - Final day for 100% refund for full-term (8-week) or arranged courses.
See Fee Refund/Drop/Withdrawal Schedule for less than full-term courses.
Final day to add or enroll in a full-term course (8-week) with instructor permission. See Last Day to Add Summer Term Classes.
Fees for full-term (8-week) or arranged courses do not apply to courses added after this date.

June 13 - Final day for graduate students to declare Intent to Graduate--notify Graduate School
Pre-enrollment for Fall 2016 transfer students

June 19 - Final day for 50% refund for full-term (8-week) or arranged courses.
See Fee Refund/Drop/Withdrawal Schedule for less than full-term course.
Final day to withdraw full-term (8-week) or arranged courses without transcript record.

June 20 - Transcript record begins for full-term (8-week) or arranged courses.
COURSES ARE PERMITTED TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM JUNE 20 THROUGH JULY 3 (SEE WITHDRAWAL POLICY STATEMENT). A grade of "W" will be recorded.
Final date for graduate students to sign for comprehensive examinations.

July 3 - Final day to withdraw from a course with transcript record of "W" for full-term (8-week) or arranged courses. (NO WITHDRAWAL ALLOWED AFTER THIS DATE, the end of the 4th week of classes).

July 4 - Independence Day Holiday - University Closed
Final day for graduate students to submit approved titles for Master's Thesis or Specialist's Field Study.

July 5 - Classes resume.
Second session (4-week) courses begin.

July 18 - Final day for graduate students to have their comprehensive exams returned by departments to the Graduate School.

July 25 - Final day for graduate students to submit approved Master's Thesis or Specialist's Field Study and Oral Examination Report

July 29 - Term ends

August 1 - Final grade entry deadline, NOON

August 15 - Summer term undergraduate/graduate degree candidates must have all requirements for a degree completed and on record in the Registrar's Office by 4:30 pm

February 16 - Transcript record begins
COURSES ARE PERMITTED TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM FEBRUARY 16 THROUGH MARCH 28 (SEE WITHDRAWAL POLICY STATEMENT). A grade of "W" will be recorded.

February 29 - Final day for graduate students to sign for comprehensive examinations

March 11 - Midsemester

March 14 - Mid-semester grade entry deadline, NOON (No mid-semester grade reporting for Virtual College classes)

March 14-20 - Spring Break

March 21 - Classes resume
Last 8-week courses begin.

May 7 - KAMS Completion Ceremony, 11 am, Memorial Union Ballroom

May 13 - Semester ends
Undergraduate/Graduate Commencement: Colleges of Business & Entrepreneurship, Education AND Science, Technology and Mathematics, Gross Memorial Coliseum, 6 pm

May 14 - Undergraduate/Graduate Commencement: Colleges of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences AND Health & Behavioral Sciences, Gross Memorial Coliseum, 9 am

May 16 - Final grade entry deadline, NOON

May 30– Memorial Day Holiday - University Closed

June 1 - Spring semester undergraduate/graduate degree candidates must have all requirements for a degree completed and on record in the Registrar's Office by 4:30 pm
