Fort Hays State University’s Professional Writing Certificate Program prepares students for their professional enhancement as writers who can begin a project, compose the necessary documents for it, and see it through to its completion whether the project be a report, a new program proposal, or a publication. With an emphasis on performance-based learning and teaching practical, applicable skills, these writing and editing courses gear students for professional communication and composition positions in a variety of fields from the for-profit to the non-profit arena of occupations.
