January 21, 2009, 3:00-5:00pm

Alternative Strings Band members who are in the competition, and fellow string players from their area, have the opportunity to participate in a workshop and concert with the fiddling group Barrage! Workshop participants will be sent one or more Barrage arrangements in advance to rehearse and memorize. Then in the afternoon of January 21st, Barrage staff will teach their alternative strings style, and rehearse for a joint performance with students that evening.
