Alex Heisler

Alex Heisler, native of Hutchinson, Kansas, is a freshman double majoring in music and information networking and telecommunications. Alex began playing the cello in sixth grade, has studied with Jacob Omsky at WSU, Edward Laut at KU, David Littrell at KSU, and former FHSU cello professor Dan Delisi and is currently a student of Ben Morris-Cline.  In high school, Alex participated in KMEA regionals in sophomore, junior, and senior years, solos at state with division one ratings sophomore and junior years, ensembles at state with division one ratings all 4 years, and played in the musical, "Hello Dolly" last year. At FHSU Alex plays in the Hays Symphony Orchestra, the FHSU String Ensemble, and the FHSU Cello Choir.
