Jason Kucerik is a music education and music composition major who plays the
guitar, trumpet, and piano. He joined WKSA in the Fall of 2006 to gain
experience teaching and to share his knowledge with students just beginning
with the guitar. When asked which of his classes he enjoyed most, he
couldn't pick just one. Jason has played with the FHSU Wind Ensemble, FHSU
Jazz Ensemble I, Hays Symphony Orchestra, and Brass 'N Grass. He also often
helps out with the High Plains Band Camp where you can usually find him in
the faculty band. In 2008, Jason added to his musical credentials by serving
as a Drum Major for the FHSU Marching Band.
