AUG 19 - How to proceed through this course:
- Read the on-line lessons and the textbook as indicated on the course schedule.
- Complete the homework assignments before the due date so you can ask questions with enough time to get an answer before you hand it in
- Complete an undergraduate student project or a graduate student term paper as described in the syllabus
- Hand in
required assignments and prepare for lectures by the due date.
- Join the class E-mail list as explained on the
News page.
- Discuss the course by sending E-mail to
datacom@alleycat.fhsu.edu.
AUG 18 - You must activate your scatcat e-mail
account and check it regularly or forward it to an account that you will check regularly. The instructor will use the blackboard e-mail function to make announcements to class and this will default to your scatcat e-mail. read the assistance provided at http://scatcat.fhsu.edu/ for more information on setting up, checking and forwarding scatcat e-mail. Practice Exams are available below in .PDF format. Work through the
problems and seek an understanding of the concepts. I don't have solution guides for these as I might actually use some of these questions again on the real exams.
