About

The Center for Language and Culture at Fort Hays State University was born during the Fall 2013 semester from the initiative of Dr. Tim Crowley, Dean of Graduate School and Assistant Provost for Internationalization.

This center is a collaborative effort of several campus units to offer curricular and co-curricular support in the areas of foreign language improvement (including English as a Second Language) and education abroad advising assistance.  The Center is managed by the Internationalization Office in the Graduate School. The Center for Language and Culture wants to become the transit place for those initiatives and for students looking to study abroad, travel abroad with the university or on their own, and get involved internationally on campus or off campus.
