Volunteer Organization of the Year

Tigers In Service and the Center for Civic Leadership want to encourage students and student organizations to be the best they can be. For this reason, the Volunteer Student Organization of the Year award has been created.

The student organization who records the most service hours with TIS throughout the academic year will be recognized at the Outstanding Tigers Ceremony and other events in the late spring semester each year. The winning organization will have their group photo placed on the Volunteer Organization of the Year plaque located in the lower level of the Memorial Union for the year following their receipt of the honor. A placard will also be engraved and permanently mounted on the plaque for recognition in years to come for the service performed.

The service plaque will not only bring pride and prestige to your organization, it will also let students, teachers, and the Hays community know that you care. To earn recognition as the top service organization of the year, you can report your service hours here.
