Managing for Employee Engagement

Date:  Not currently scheduled
Time:  3.5 hours
Place:  FHSU Memorial Union, or your location

The Managing for Employee Engagement workshop helps managers engage, motivate, and retain employees by eliminating the three primary causes of job misery: Anonymity, Irrelevance, and Immeasurement.  In this workshop, managers explore the effects of job misery on employees, managers, and organizations and use the results of a self-assessment completed during the session to identify the ways in which their behavior causes employee misery and to learn simple, yet powerful, techniques for making employees' jobs more fulfilling and more productive.

Target Audience

This workshop is ideal for anyone currently managing or leading people within the workplace. This is also an excellent workshop for those transitioning into middle-management roles such as team leaders or supervisors.

Your Facilitator

Seth Kastle, Department of Leadership Studies Faculty Member, First Sergeant in the US Army Reserve, and former manager for Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.
