Course Instructor: Linda Frederick, PHR, SHRM-CP

With over twenty years of experience as a Human Resource Manager, Linda Frederick, is a strong believer that employees are any business/organization's greatest asset.

Ms. Frederick began her HR career in Great Bend, Kansas at Becker Tire (Sept. 1975-April 1999), gaining experience in training, recruiting, orientation, payroll, employee evaluations and drafting a handbook. She then successfully recruited for 1,500+ positions annually for Pearson Government Solutions (July 1999- Dec.2003), providing manpower for government contracts, including call centers for FAFSA, 1-800-Medicare, INS, and tech support for FAFSA on the Web. While employed there, she obtained government clearance for Department of Labor, Department of Education and Department of Defense.

Linda is Human Resource Manager for EnerSys (Mar. 2004-current). She is a Kansas Notary Public, the 2007 President of Western Kansas Human Resource Management Assoc., (an affiliate chapter of SHRM) and has been a District Director for the Kansas SHRM Board of Directors. She currently serves on the FHSU Advisory Board for the Management Department and on the MDC Advisory Council. She is also currently serving as President of the Board for First Call for Help, a non-profit organization in Ellis County, Kansas."

Ms. Frederick holds PHR ( Professional Human Resource) Certification, SHRM-CP certification, a Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management and a Master's Degree in Organizational Development.
