What Summer Induction class teachers have to say.....

"I really enjoyed the communication between other teachers who could share their experience."

"It covered a lot of topics that new teachers can't have knowledge of prior to the start of the school year."

"I was nervous when I arrived because I felt inadequate, but this class gave me enough tools that I am confident I can effectively teach."

"I think the T2T program is awesome! I appreciate the opportunity it offers and has allowed me to follow a dream that would otherwise be unmanageable."

"Helpful information on classroom management for entering the school year. Learning different ways to incorporate learning group work was very helpful."

What Administrators have to say.....

"Each one has what I like to call 'The Right Stuff' - those unteachable teaching behaviors that are innate and so critical to effective teaching.  While maintaining high expectations, they build and maintain very wholesome interactions with students and colleagues. They and their classrooms have been a joy to visit and I am honored to be their university supervisor.".....Dr. Brenda Cain, FHSU University Supervisor, Wichita area

" Fort Hays State University's Transition to Teaching program has provided Accelerated Schools of Overland Park an opportunity to hire enthusiastic people who have experience in their field and a desire to share their passion with high school students. At Accelerated Schools of Overland Park, the T2T teachers share their field knowledge with our students while learning to teach at the same time. What better lesson for high school students than to know their teacher is a student and learning, too!"....Sara Tate Goldstein, Principal, Accelerated Schools of Overland Park
