Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs
The Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs are classes offered to the students of Fort Hays State University through different academic departments on campus. Those programs are oriented towards the domestic student population of the university in order to give them the opportunity to travel outside the United States and experience different cultures from a fun and educational perspective. Students at Fort Hays State University can find a wide variety of Faculty-Led Study Abroad Programs for which they can apply. The credits earned during during the completion of one of those programs might be applicable to graduate with a minor, or receive a certificate from the Internationalization Office.
The Center for Language and Culture at Fort Hays State University is looking to collaborate more and more with the different academic departments and offices on campus to establish a strong Study Abroad Programs division, by opening new programs each year with different themes and destinations, but also by developing workshops for Faculty training to encourage them to start their own programs.
